When i call congressional offices i make certain i remind the staff who are answering the ohone or listening to voice mail that the stench from Trumpism will follow them their entire lives.

Well said! As always, Thank You for pointing out the importance of how we live our lives and how we impact others.

We are a divided nation but I stand with those who follow our better angels. Whether drawing comic strips or working for ICE or Trump's inner circle of sycophants, you will be judged. Dan, your column reminds me of Lincoln's hopeful concluding words in his first inaugural address.

"I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature."

Thank you so very much, Dan. I didn't know this issue. Take care and have a great day.

Let me be sure I have this right. The 6 prosecutors refused to investigate Rene Good's possible blame for her own death (good!). DOJ is refusing to investigate the shooter, right? I sure hope the state court straightens it out.

It's my understanding that the prosecutors resigned because they were being asked to investigate (and possibly prosecute) the wife of Renee Good as a terrorist. They were also upset that DOJ was not collaborating with Minnesota to investigate Renee's death. I could be wrong but that is what I read.
