Joe Rogan: You voted for this, bro

Did the grand influencer of the booboisie miss the ocean of “Mass Deportation Now” signs at the MAGA National Convention last summer?

I see where Trump supporter Joe Rogan thinks it’s “nuts” that ICE goon squads are grabbing immigrants off their job sites and throwing them into the mass deportation maw.

“These ICE raids are f—ing nuts,” Rogan said on his podcast. “The Trump administration, if they’re running and they said, ‘We’re going to go to Home Depot and we’re going to arrest all the people at Home Depot. We’re going to go to construction sites, and we’re going to just, like, tackle people at construction sites’... I don’t think anybody would’ve signed up for that.”

Rogan, grand influencer of the booboisie, apparently didn’t see the ocean of “Mass Deportation Now” signs at the MAGA National Convention last summer. What part of “mass” does this dullard not understand?

Trump pledged to carry out one million deportations a year — some four times the highest annual removal record under any president, Democratic or Republican, and more than twice the peak number reached during the Obama administration. To meet that ridiculous goal, ICE would have to do exactly what its goon squads are doing now — racial/ethnic profiling men and women who appear to be Latino immigrants, grabbing them off job sites and hustling them into SUVs. That they would just target violent criminals was a lie.

Joe Rogan can sing, “Nobody Asked For This, Bro,” but he endorsed Trump, and he likely got thousands or millions to vote for him. An endorsement of Trump was an endorsement of a racist jerk and chronic liar whose previous term included cruel immigration practices conceived by the fascist Stephen Miller. Miller has even more power and influence in Trump’s second term. He probably gets a thrill from watching the same ICE videos the rest of us find horrible. Anyone who voted for Trump voted for Miller. Anyone who voted for Trump voted for this.

So, tell you what, Joe. If this bothers you so much — if you’re feeling some guilt for having convinced your bro’followers to vote for Trump — I know how you can make up for it. Get out of the podcast studio and join the ICE protests. Stop the goons from kidnapping the guys mowing lawns and the women cleaning houses. Engage in some civil disobedience. Otherwise, close your pie hole.
