We are all stunned, and furious, and frightened for everyone these days, as mindless violence and revenge will increase all over the world. Now we will get to see what real insanity looks like.
I’m not sure I ever felt wholly safe in my entire life. But since Jan 21st I wake up every day fearing TFG (Philly version of the acronym) would have done something incomprehensibly horrifying. And he has delivered regularly. But this is the worst.
Yes, I’m feeling safer today and I praise Trump for standing up to Mr. Putin and for destroying a possible atom bomb that could threaten the whole Free world. We’re not into a war. We’re probably into a one time bombing scenario. And please don’t quote Senator Van Hollen, who has a long history of opposing anything good for Israel and the Jews.
I agree that we are now less safe under Trump as Dan clearly specifies. But air supremacy, as recently established by Israel, is a rare advantage when countering threats. A nuclear-capable Iran is likely to exist, perhaps not in upcoming weeks but in the coming few years. If it were to be a one-and-done I'd support it. But it will escalate under Trump, if only when he next needs to divert our attention from his escalating authoritarianism. Right out of the dictators' playbook.

I don't feel safe and I think thr decision to bomb Iran will have serious, negative consequences for the U.S.

We are screwed. (Is that a good assessment?)
