Since the white Christian nationalists think the 2nd coming is right around the corner they aren’t concerned with the welfare of the earth sadly. And they also seem only to care about whiteness. So much so they don’t give seem to care about people of color or the welfare of the children of those people. I’ve finally realized - what makes sense to you and me - doesn’t matter to people who only care about whiteness, guns, and portraying themselves as victims-all because they falsely perceive their “whiteness” as somehow superior to the rest of us.
We used to call it "shared values" that we had even when being polar opposites politically. Hate distorts clear thinking. Remember the Affordable Care Act that both sides supported. Call it Obamacare and you lost the republican support. Hhmmm. Get the point.
And sadly what’s coming next will be so much worse. With the massive expansion of ICE funding, we’ll see thousands of people rounded up daily by masked ‘government’ agent, sent to who knows where. And the Supreme Court has now given trump the power to fire any federal employee. You can kiss your functioning national govt goodbye.
It now comes down to what will we as a people do. We are on the ski jump into fascism with no rational way off. The courts and congress will do nothing to stop this. Marching in the streets is ignored. A national strike?

How can we lock our neighbors in cages and promote UFC fighting in the same cages at the White House? The new Moral Majority is anyone left in this country that has a speck of decency.
