Dan, I have been a patient at Johns Hopkins Medicine for 12 years. Many of the specialists, highly trained and competent physicians were not born in this country. Hopkins has 11,000 foreign students. They make my life possible, more interesting and complete.
Trump’s the TACO who listens to the latest special interest who gets his ear, so now that the farmers and roofers are starting to lose workers, he’s changing his tune.
YES!!! A lot of us have already known this for years but why doesn't the Administration understand something so obvious? I can't understand why the humans running the Country at this time can't feel the pain and misery they are putting these people through. And, If they can't feel compassion for these workers and their families, what don't our leaders understand what most of us will be missing. Thank you, Dan, as always.
Dan, of course you’re right about immigrants, “legal” or not, and their value to our society. It’s made it what it is today. All of us came from these immigrants and our lives of freedom and plenty come directly from them. The hard and often entrepreneurial work they did was for their descendants.
And I sure hope when many of us take to the streets today that we will be joined by every Democratic official, from Senator and Governor on down. Let’s see them lead, proudly.

“I could go on, so I will….” Why we love Dan. The Sun shines less without him.
